James and the Giant Peach

22 03 2009

There was a homework sheet and it had options on it about what we could do for homework.  I chose to do sound recording and I read James and the Giant Peach.

First of all I recorded my reading on an audio recorder. Then I copied it to the computer, but as it was quite quiet I had to make it louder by using Garageband. Then my Dad copied it onto the internet so everyone could listen using the buttons below.

Here is a photo of the audio recorder and one of me typing this message.

I love this story - I had forgotten about the Rhinocerous though! Are you going to do another chapter soon because you have a very nice voice for story telling and I will listen again if you do anymore. Thank you - hope you get top marks for this homework

Great reading, well done. I love Roald Dahl, I think he’s fantastic. I think Boy was my favourite, all about his childhood in Cardiff. Will have to re-read a few now you’ve reminded me. The last sentance on your About page made me laugh out loud!

Cheers, Nicky.

Thank you all for your comments, they are very kind!

I am not sure when I will do some more reading here because my next homework is to make an eco classroom in Google Sketchup. Dad says he doesn’t even know what that means, so I think it might be quite hard.

He could just be being difficult though.

I like Roald Dahl’s books but at the moment my favourites are the Harry Potter ones.
